Who this ad targets

The ad targets Supernatural fans, a large and active community that has stayed engaged long after the show ended, spanning millennials and Gen Z who discovered it on streaming. Many are convention-goers who travel for fan events, so travel plus Gold passes is highly relevant. It also reaches fans of Misha Collins' own projects and charity work, an audience already familiar with cause-driven fandom.

Copywriting analysis

The copy leads with access rather than objects: "a chance to meet" comes before any prize list, setting up the emotional payoff. The actor's name is the largest and only gold headline, followed by the full convention title, which fans will recognize as the official event. Location and dates are separated onto their own lines for quick scanning. The prize line explains travel and Gold passes for the winner and a guest, though it contains a small grammar slip, "Prize Include" instead of "Prize includes". The bonus is moved into a badge with "Plus", keeping the main panel focused. As with other HeadCount ads, voting isn't mentioned on the image.

Visual design

The design pairs a natural, warm cutout photo with a dark, formal text panel framed by a thin gold art deco border, a style that hints at classic Hollywood and convention signage. Gold and white type on charcoal gives a premium, evening-event feel. The tan circular badge adds a contrasting accent and a tactile, sticker-like quality. Logos are grouped neatly at the bottom with a vertical divider for the partnership.

How to adapt this template for your brand

1. Use a high-quality cutout photo of the talent, cropped from the knees or waist up.
2. Create a dark panel with a thin decorative border next to the photo for the copy.
3. Lead with "a chance to meet" and the talent's name in the accent color.
4. List event, city, dates and inclusions on short separate lines.
5. Put the bonus prize in a round badge and show partner logos side by side at the bottom.

Tips for advocacy ads on Meta

For Stories, make sure the badge and logos stay above the bottom reply area and the actor's face stays clear of the top bar. Fandom audiences respond well to interest targeting around the show, its cast and fan conventions. Proofread prize copy carefully, since fans will notice and comment on typos. Include the full official rules link in the landing page and keep the Meta release text on the creative or in the ad copy.
